Can the i530 ring and vibrate?

After 6+ years I ported my AT&T number over to Nextel, since many of my friends have them. I chose the i530 phone. The owners manual describes how to set the phone to ring and vibrate on page 60 of the book.

Ringtones - Vibeall set to off - pick ringtone - assign with vibe (I don't see this step, only which line to choose (1 or 2, along with callalert, messages, and A contact) after selecting phone line 1 it indicates that ring tone was selected with no other options beyond that.

Any ideas?

hit the menu button and then you can assig vib.
