Mercedes-Benz Timeport P8767

I am looking at a Mercedes-Benz Timeport P8767 CDM phone on Ebay. My car has all of the required hardware, but the previous owner took the phone.

so...the phone I am looking at is currently on the Verizon network. Will I be able to transfer it to the Telus network? Will I have to unlock the phone or will it already be unlocked from Verizon?

I want to use the phone with Telus.

Before you get upset with me, I have already used the search feature and there is not much information available on the P8767 since it is an older phone.
