V60iT Ringtones & Wallpaper Help Needed

My son has a month old Motorola V60iT (color screen) phone that I am trying to load some new ringtones and wallpaper to with no sucess at all. I am starting to believe that this phone model doesn't support these features by using a usb data cable as a tech at Motorola told me a couple of weeks ago. I went to the Vstuff site and downloaded ALL of the Essentials but some of them don't seem to recognize the V60iT phone at all. In the Mobile PhoneTools, if you look in the list of icons for the MM Center symbol it isn't there. I opened the MMCenter from in Crograms/mobilephonetools and it doesn't see the phone connected there. And when I tried to transfer a ringtone to his phone as a ".midi" file is tells me the format is not supported. I know his phone only supports Mono ringtones so that is what I tried to send. I also tried to use Midway to transfer a game to his phone and the error says "timer expired". Also with the PK2 file manager, any of the butons I click one leaves a message in the lower text box saying "phone not connected". The Mobile PhoneTools DOES see the V60iT phone to view the phones phone book, backup data and items like that but not much of anyting else. The company that we subscribe to for phone service does not have any web capabilities at this time so that is why I was hoping to be able to add some "Stuff" to his phone via "usb data cable" since it is our only possible option at this time.

If anyone has any sugestions of what I am doing wrong with the software I downloaded from Vstuff.com or has any other suggestions of how I might be able to do what I am trying, any help would be appreciated.
