    hey,

i've also just bought a c550. it takes a bit of setting up to get games onto ur mobile from ur comp, but heres a rundown on what u need:

    1. usb mini adapter: this basically connects the phone to the computer, many usb drives/cameras/devices come w/ one, or u can pick one up really cheap at a computer store, just ask them for help

    2. drivers for phone: this allows the computer to communicate w/ the phone. i downloaded mine from http://www.motclub.com/, it's in spanish but if u click on 'drivers' and get the motorola usb modem drivers and the p2k drivers, and install them...

    3. program to activate java app loader: to upload games to ur mobile phone, u need to activate a feature on the phone. this can be done w/ a program called 'motorola service software' also found on http://www.motclub.com/, install and click on 'activate java app loader'

    4. program to upload games: download a program called 'midway' which will allow u to upload games

i haven't really gone into the specifics, so if u'd like more help, just reply.

games-wise, i'm not really sure about compatibility, though the phone is able to handle most j2me games, which can be found on the net, the small screen size limits the actual games u can play. for me, it's just a matter of trial and error.

    hope that helps

    hey,

for me, using the mss beta version 3.2.3 worked fine for me in order to activate the app loader, so u don't really need to get the other versions. those versions have other features that work to allow you to screw around with your phone eg. unlocking it, upgrading the phone software. i don't touch any of that stuff just to keep on the safe side.

with games, u need to find java (j2me) games, also called midlets, and there are a few sites that host free games, but it takes a bit of searching. i haven't tried sending games by e-mail, and i'm not sure if it would work. i find using the usb cable is best, as u can get other programs to upload and download pictures and ringtones to ur phone aswell.

here are a couple of sites i use to find games, a lot of the games won't work on the phone, because of the size of the screen, but there are a few that do; it's just a matter of trial and error:
    http://www.tagtag.com/
    http://www.midlet.org/

    just reply for more help
