I would go with 635 , Motorola is still having issues with V3 , Wait a little while on it till they get all the kinks worked out

Being an owner of a v3, I find it incrediblely sexy. I love to show it off. Always get the "Nice phone" kind of comments. And if you had to choose from the silver or black, I'd say the black. The silver is played out, the black has a smooth look to it.

I prefer the v635 just because 35 is my lucky number and I like the feel of the v600/v620 and the v635 should be about the same size and weight... plus, it's got EDGE. However, I don't like the v635's design as much as the v600/v620 so I think I'll stick with those handsets for a while.

V635 has a 1.23mp camera with 8x zoom, as opposed to .3mp with 4x zoom on the V3.
Also, the V635 has a great video quality.
And the V635 does not have the bugs and glitches that the V3 has.
Oh, and the 35megs of memory included in the box +5megs internal memory, as opposed to the 5Megs internal from the V3.
The only thing the V3 has for itself is the look, and the 3d graphs.

I just got 2 v3's and am soon to get the 635(I think)... Happy with the v3, tho worried about the space, since I just found a whole bunch of apache servers loaded with games, ringtones, aps...

If you want looks then go with the Motorola V3 and if you want feature then go with the V635. If you want to buy it unlocked and without contract then go to XXXXX.com
