the v3 is superior

The phone is slim and brilliantly designed, like something out of the future. The screen is perfect and the buttons altho a bit unusual to use, look brilliant. The software is poor typical of motorola, for instance it doesnt let you delete any of the pics or sounds that the phone initially comes with. The camara is also pretty crap and doesnt do video, pictures sometimes have a shady blue look. Altho it has its issues I still think itll be one of those all time classic phones up there with nokias and samsungs , perhaps?

No video? I was almost sure this phone had video capabilities.

its true it doesnt do video recording, someone told me that the next software update(flex) might allow it to record but i havnt heard anything about it.

the v635 can do video recording, aswell as expandable memory so it can be used to store much more music n vids which is a real plus. i can see why people would prefer it but tbh i hate the chunky flip look of the v6xx's so im sticking with the v3.

they are all good phones dont get me wrong but if it were me id rahter have a v6xx series because they have a bit more to grab. now for me thats great caus i tend to loose cell phones and an v3 would be gone in a matter of days. but thats just my opinion.

I see these complaints here about the V3 not being able to do video...ahem..don't buy it. I hear how some folk complain about bad quality photos, it's supposed to take top qulaity photos. I owned a V600, and now the owner of a Razor, both phones take the same photos..thats it, i've seen good, and bad photos with the phone. Just remember one thing folks, this is a PHONE...plain and simple..have a good day. Thumbs up to the Razor

LOL.....there is no such thing as just a phone anymore. More and more people want the convenience of a camera and a phone, or camera, video, mp3 player, radio and phone.

Just a phone is a thing of the past. Also, the way things are progressing, the phone is becoming the least important feature.

You are so true, but if you want a featureful phone, do some research, folks complain about features, quality. I just don' t understand how these folks can buy something without doing any type of research on it, especially when your spending $500. plus.

I am an owner of a v3, also, and I do admit the video quality does give the phone a negative look, since in commercials and prototype pictures, the pics are always 'simulated' to give the buyer a positive look at the phone. I still love it, anyways.

About the thread, I do agree the hottest phone out right now is the v3, but wait 'til Summer - Winter, when the PEBL V6 is out!

I do like both of my Razrs, but feature wise i would have to go with the v635 therefore making it superior to the Razr imho.

you can flash the V3 and get everything you get on the other models except for the memory expansion. You can also delete all the sound and video files...look around for the stuff here and howardforums.com and motox.us and elsewhere to see all you can do!

The Razr is basically a v600 with a well constructed housing, let's not exaggerate.
