Well I just picked up an unlocked V220 from a friend a couple of days ago. The phone is orignally a Cingular one, but has been unlocked. I'm using T-Mobile service though.

Anyways onto the problems. I put my T-Mobile SIM card into the phone and start it up. Does the load up screen and all that, but then it tells me to "Insert SIM". I cleaned the card and the connectors on the phone and it still won't work. Card still works on my old V80, just not this one.

I then tired my dad's T-Mobile card and his loads up and gets past the screen and everything fine. But when I try to make calls with that it says the "Call Failed", and when I try to call that number nothing happens, goes right to voicemail.

Now we then tried my friend's T-Mobile card and his worked fine; started up okay, was able to make and receive calls.

Anyone have any idea on why my card won't work at all, my dad's can't make calls or anything, but my friend's works fine with it.
