Hi, my Motorola T730c has completely died on me. It started yesterday when I received a phone call in the morning and couldn't answer it; all the buttons were unresponsive. I could see that calls were coming in but I couldn't do anything about it. My battery has died and now it won't even charge. I'm wondering if it's possible to retreive the memory (the phonebook in particular) from the phone, either by sending it in to Motorola's engineers or maybe taking the phone apart and doing something tricky--like putting the memory into another T730c or some kind of memory stick reading device. Does anyone know what's inside this model, or any other method of retreiving the data? I've since bought another phone and I'm very happy with it. I just want to be able to look at my old phone numbers, I don't need it in a file or any particular format. Thanks so much in advance...

Or buy a cable and get them that way most of the cables now charge your phone at the same time so you'll have constant power while trying to get your contacts

The T730 is not a hard phone to take apart. Have you tried another battery ? If there still no power the phone has two parts. The key pad and the phone are seperate you could just get another 730. And put the key pad from the other phone just put it back together and see if it just was a keypad problem ok. Or just take the battery off and put it back on. Sometimes the phone just freezes.
