Looking for a little advice!
Time to renew and get a new phone and I am having a hard time deciding between the Moto or the LG?? Previously had Moto but current phone is a LG. Most important factors to me are Reception as I live in a relatively rural area, trimode because I dont always have a digital signal at home, speakerphone becasue I am on the road and battery life. The cameras are an added bonus but not a deciding factor! I have read mixed reviews on both. Anyone try both?
THANKS

I went from LG4400 to Motorola v710 this week. I like the v710 but I haven't
been able to get any games on it but I haven't tried too hard yet. Ringtones
are like the LG on first try, just downsample them, save as mp3. Then got
to the command prompt and add the mid extention. This will allow you to
not only play the ringtones with the mp3 player but you can also save them as ringtones. As far as the rest of the phone goes, I've been very happy with
it. The camera is nothing great but that wasn't why I bought it. The reason I
liked it was it had the largest viewing area which comes in handy.
Hope this helps

How is your reception?
Have you noticed a difference in the reception since switching from your LG? That is one of my biggest concerns with Me living in a more rural area!
THANKS!

actually after I did the 228 over the air software update on the LG it started
dropping calls. So far the V710 hasn't dropped anything. I like the
speaker phone and the reception has been great but there are still some
known dead spots I haven't tried yet.

I too was trying to decide between the 710 and the 6100. All the dealers I talked to said that Motorola phones had more returns for repair than the LG. So I went with the LG. I guess I will find out.

I also use to own an LG phone and calls always dropped. Ive had my V710 for about three weeks and i havent dropped a call once. The only other difference is the display screen on the 710 is one of the best ive ever seen.
