Motorola v180

I hve a v180 from t Mobile I want to use with cingular I got it unlocked , I place the cingular sims in and it turns on ok ,but it will not lock onto cingular network any suggestions. Thanks

Perhaps it's a tri-band and you need the 850. I just ran across the same problem, looking for a way around.

I know a few people who have had the same problem.

the v180 can be a bit buggy like that

Many of them come tri-band. Motorola's developer specs even say it is tri-band, but there is a guide on here that'll help you make it a quad-band phone. Just use the search function.
