Anyone have there Motorola V600 drop calls every 10-15mins into a phone call? I was talking to my girl last night and it dropped my call 3 times all within 10-15 minutes? Could it be reception? I was getting 4 bars to 1bar in the same spot, just keep on changing.

i think i may have had it for alittle over 2-3months maybe 4 but nothing longer than that.

And usually after the drop call, my v600 tends to freeze up and just not work, so i have to pull the battery out and turn it back on. And if i dont do that the screen just goes white.

Oh trust me...it's not...i only had nokias and they do that to.It's like im talking to someone and then silence...they can hear me but i can't hear then. Then the call will drop or i will hang up and call them back on my house phone. So i just stand by the window or i go in my living room(which gets really good reception for some reason).

After reading this...and afta having this problem with two completely different phone models(3390-6010) I have come to the conclusion that it is TMOBILE...but i still love them anyways!!

i dont think motorola's suck, i actually like them, this is the first time this has happened to me.

I just switched over to Cingualr from AT&T so i dont think i am gonna switch to another service for another year or more. T mobile seems like a nice company but i dont like there phones, only 1 i like is the SKII. And i like nextel and there phone line seems pretty nice. (that might be the next service i switch too) and Verizon is supposed to be the best around here (NY) but there phone line SUCKS!

    The problem is GSM

Motorola invented the first cell phones, and they are
the best. The problem is the same one I had, being
tricked into giving up my TDMA service with AT&T, and
being sucked into Cingular that uses GSM. GSM is the
main network in Europe and they are pushing it as the
way it's going to be from now on here in the US. Not
true. The TDMA network is the first and foremost cell phone
network, like the Jefferson Airplane was to the San
Francisco sound. It was bought by AT&T from the original
Cellular One. It uses way more bandwidth than any other,
and they have been constructing repeaters longer and
in more locations than GTE Mobilnet (now Verizon), or
any other carrier. 3 years ago Cingular was basically
useless here in Marin. Since they bought AT&T they have
been working like mad dogs to catch up , but it will take
many years before they can trick all the people to close
their TDMA accounts and force GSM upon them. I myself
did not go to GSM, but I went to IDEN. The TDMA network
from my experience has the best voice quality and coverage. I have not seen any GSM phones that accept a
real hard wired car kit. If I were you I would get out of
any contract that doesn't work for you, even if it costs
$200.00, if the phone doesn't work at your house or the
people you call can't here you, do whatever you can to
get your money back or just take it as a burn and get out!
I switched to Nextel and they have real Motorola phones
that work well, I would have held on to my TDMA account
but they purposely don't offer any of the new phones so I
had to bail. Just say MO

always expect that if you have a gsm service provider. specially in the city the network is to busy thats why your call always drop. but this is not happening to cdma and tdma service provider. gsm once there is a traffic their no way you gonna get connected, but on cdma and tdma your always connected. don't get me wrong i use t-mo a gsm service provider to.

damn... this really makes me want to switch service providers. But for now i guess ill have to deal with the dropped calls. Just trying to figure out what is a good time to call people when there is not a lot of traffic in the network.

I recently keep getting network failure and i have to re-dial everytime.
