Motorola V878

I've just got this phone from Asia and also bought a cable for this phone. After I launch MPT 3.25b, it doesn't recognize the phone. Then I went search for a program called MOBILedit! 1.97 and it still doesn't recognize the phone. Both of that software suppose to recognize the phone and let me transfer date but it doesn't. Anybody know if there's some software that I can use for this particular phone?

Are yo' all serious? This 4rum has no one kno about dis type of fone?

Somebody told me that MPT 3.11h will let me connect the phone so I tried but cannot transfer ringtone over. Any idea?

MPT tends to be a little buggy and you may have to delete restart and reinstall a few times to get it to work, also make sure when you have it completly installed you run the live update.

I already updated it several times. But it still not recognize the V878 which make me confuse. Why's the older ver can detect the phone but the new one cant.

Nothing new for this model of phone? Please help me out if you guys know how to do it.

Try running the live update on mpt if it doesn't upgrade to at least 3.23 than you may have a phone that only region specific software will support.

My MPT is now 3.25 and it doesn't support V878. I've seen someone said that an older version will work but I cannot get it work. Is there any other software that I can use?

Try p2k also in the sticky.

I cannot find it in the sticky. I've p2k but it cannot detect thsi phone. I dont know if it's because the version or not.
