Anyone having trouble with their Moto V180 cell phone?

Is there anyone that is having trouble with their Moto V180 cell phone.

I got one in March and have been very dissatisfied with it. I cannot use it inside any large building. I have tried to call home when in WalMart and when at the mall but it will not connect. It has too much static and will cut out on me often. I called the Motorola Co. and complained about it, they said to take it to the Cingular store and ask them to check it, which I did. They said there was nothing wrong with it. The lady in the store said that she would never get anything other than a Nokia.

What can a person do when they get a phone that does not give good service. I have a friend that also has a Moto V180 and she said that her's is also giving her the same trouble.

That's strange - perhaps it's where you live. I have a v180 and I usually get excellent reception. The only way to see if it's the service or the phone is to put your SIM card in another phone and see if there's a difference.
