the way to put mp3 ringtones on your E815

This is a very easy (sorta) way to have any ring tone that you would like. also, you do not need a transflash card for this. first off, the ring tone will only play for 30 sec b4 doing to ur voice mail. so find a part in the mp3 that is ~30 sec that u will want to play when ppl call you. then use a mp3 splitter program to make it cut out the ~30sec part that u would want. u can google for free programs, i used Cool mp3 Splitter. once u get the ~30sec mp3 file that u want, check the file size. it needs to be under 300kb. if the file is too big, u must compress it. google for some compression program, i used diet mp3. after this, u must send the mp3 to your phone via email. the address that you send it too is (yourphonenumer)@vzwpix.com. for example: [email protected]. you have to attach the mp3 to the email that u send. btw, when u send this to yourself, it will cost you 25cents unless u have a txt/pix messeging plan. when u recieve the message on ur phone, u might have to scroll over and it should play, save the mp3. go to ringtones and it will be there. set that as your ringer and, voilia, there you go. i hope this helped all the noobs out there. btw, u can have mp3s set to other things like txt messege alert, etc. hope this helps
