You will not find any tutorials for unlocking, only your carrier or an independent cell phone shop can unlock your phone besides the web sites..
Lex, just call T-Mobile and ask for the unlock code, of course you need to have had your account for 90 days and have a good valid reason for unlocking your handset like travelling overseas on business.

what do you mean
why do you think that there is no tutorial, you mean to to say that independent cell phone shops employ magicians?
there has to be a way to read a firmware into a file and disassemble it certain way.
Then run it in debug mode in a simulated environment in a pc to figure out how the XXXware calculates the unlock code.
There is many tools to disassemble and debug PC software like wdasm32, Softice and many others but did not find anything similar for cell phones.
Anybody knows about some texts or other tutorials that address this issue please post
thanks

For $20, yes, they can magically unlock my phone...
but since you seem to know it all, why don't you show lead us to a tutorial? that way we can all start unlocking our phones magically overnight.

hmmmm
If I'd know I would
It's not about $20, it's about knowing how

well looks like tmobile disabled AIM from the newer versions of the v360. they told me to contact motorola for an update maybe. i have two stupid questions real quick...how do i disable the sounds so when i press the keys it doesnt make the sound..i turned the sounds all the way down but i want to disable them to have a longer battery life, ive seen the setting that says "dis able key tone pad" or somethin like that but i cant find it again. and one more thing..the phone charger that i got is a 220, wont work here in the states..where can i go to find the v360 charger with out goin to the tmobile place. would the razr v3 charger work?..so yea..what other kind of chargers are combatible (*****ing) witht the v360 and if i have to i'll talk to the dude at tmobile.

Peter just go to a place like Radio Shack and buy an adaptor for your charger, runs cheaper than trying to buy a whole new charger.
for your keypad go into <menu settings> and look for your "sounds" or 'ring styles" choose "detail" and scroll down to "key volume" and adjust from there.

$20... you didn't try an electronics shop? they usually have the single ones...
