Can I email myself an mp3 ringtone?

I don't have a USB data cable yet for my v551 and I was thinking if it is possible to message myself an mp3 ringtone from my computer. Is this out of the question? If not, how would I go about doing it?

I dont see why not. Only way to really know is if you give it a try.

I was thinking I'd run into problems like messaging size limits. And should I just attach it right on or actually dissect the binary in the mp3 and paste it right on.

you're with cingular? #@mms.mycingular.com is where you need to send it. If you don't have a data package and you pay per use, mms messages are .25 cent. The mms size limit for the v3 is supposed to be 100k but I send larger ones all the time.
