Cingular bills all aim usage as sms. Even though the phone gives you a used data message when you log off, that is also billed as sms.

Btw, that was a smart move to rephrase your post Aqbar.
I missed the original post!! Damn, but thanks to both of you guys for the support, and i wouldnt want people to use up all their messages so i let em know since i have unlimited it was ok for me to go nuts with AIM. But a phone after being dropped in feces....i mean, come on!!! Thats just....wrong, in all counts!

Negative on that one, aim is billed as SMS so since i have unlimited SMS i dont have to pay extra for anything regarding AIM

yes. I have yet to see any data charges associated with aim. IF you read the fine print, it says even the buddy list updates are billed as sms.

Okay so i got my bill today, and lets just say i got slammed alittle. its over $250...

I am never using the internet again on my phone, they charge you that .01 for 1 kb and that killed me. I didnt really see anything for AIM chargers but i might have to wait until next months bill because i just started using it.

Positive Note: didnt go over text messaging.
Negative: Got crushed with Internet Access and web browsering...

Wow that sucks, this is the reason I dont even mess with AIM, unless you have a phone with a keypad it is pretty much the same as texting anyway.
