I've heard this phrase "troll" used before, what exactly does it mean so that I can reply with an honest answer.

In the context of the Internet, a troll is a person who makes inflammatory or hostile comments, which by effect or design cause disruptions in discourse, or a post made by such a person. Trolling can be described as a breaching experiment, which, because of the use of an alternate persona, allows for normal social boundaries and rules of etiquette to be tested or otherwise broken, without serious consequences.

Self-proclaimed "trolls" may style themselves as devil's advocates, gadflies or "culture jammers," challenging the dominant discourse and assumptions of forum discussions in an attempt to break the status quo of groupthink. Critics have claimed that genuine "devil's advocates" generally identify themselves as such out of respect for etiquette and courtesy, while trolls may dismiss etiquette and courtesy altogether.

my list of trolls gets shorter everyday....

    hmmm Motorolas. highly unlikely.

Considering how there is probably the most developed and wide-ranging software available for modding and customizing these phones-I'd say Motorolas are the most enjoyable brand available.

I've whole-heartedly devoted the last 19 months to playing with my v300. last week I got a v635i Yippie!!!!

I got my wifey a SE s710a...so that'll have to see how it compares in terms of UI.

and naturally, I had to get my dad the black V3. It's in the mail..and as the time passes, I've questioning my capacity to actually follow-through and mail it to him overseas-rather keeping it myself lol.

My only beef with Motorola V300 was some minor user preferences, but overall it is quite a fun and solid phone? My v635's RF is much better, that the v300-so that was pleasing. the standard 5mb although 2 years ago when it came out was leagues ahead of memory space on ALL OTHER camera phones ~400-2mbs. Now I'm seeing how SE's have 20-60mb built-in, Nokias with their awesome extended video recording capability. Each phone manufacturer has it's niche in which it excels. This coming year will prove quite auspicious for the dawn of a new league of multi-functional cellphones with rich rich additional features-the gross percentage of the population will never even try to master lol.

Dude...if you have a particular beef, please itemize it and we can evaluate your issues rationally.

    Cheers.

My parents and G-pa used to work for Motorola back in the day. From what I understand my G-pa developed a lot of the technology for the radio walkie talkies. I am partial to stick with them due to the family history. Good times.

I just got a V551 and so far I like the clarity of the sound. The phone book could use some fine tuning but other than that . . .
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Depends on what features you want. You kind of get used to the UI and then if you change you dont like the new one. I dint like Moto when I changed from Nokia to Moto. But after using for few months, I got comfortable and now I find other phone UI to be cumbersome. But then my phone does not have some features found in other phones. But that is no reason to hate the manufacturer. I guess Moto is so successful cause their phones, UI and everything together appeals to a larger auidence.
