I just now got my replacement V180. After 3 calls for a warranty replacement. A week later I shows up... I was holding my breath and expecting being forced to switch the Cingular alltogether as a former AT&T customer... I have MPT and cable on the way now. Is it pretty much self explainitory (sp?)on swapping all my stuff off the old phone to the new one? Also is there a way to tell if this new one is a "Cingular" phone? My wife has an older Samsung (X426?) and we can't afford 2 new phones right now.... I got this particular MPT & cable kit because its for the V3 also, which is what I want next, when the price drops a little more. Also what is the master reset and master clear codes?

Your v180 will have to be an ATT branded version in order for your sim card to work with it. The master reset/clear code for your Motorola is six zeros 000000

I got the MPT today. I have been able to pull my phonebook and transfer it. I can't pull the ringtones and transfer them... What am I doing wrong? I can't even find/see them on the phone... I paid for them (4 or 5) and I'd like to keep them, dammit! PLease help!
