V276, MPT and photos to PC trouble

Recently replaced my old Kyocera w/ Moto V276. Took some photos and want to get them from phone to PC. Don't want to use Verizon to email them to myself, I just want to dl them direct. Picked up a FutureDial USB cable and got MPT v3.11h. MPT doesn't recognize the phone at all. Also attempted to "live Update" MPT and couldn't. Any ideas? Is there any other software out there that I can get? I really don't want or need all the features of MPT. All I want to do is get the d*** pics off the phone. Any help greatly appreciated!

UPDATE:
Dumped MPT v3.11h (couldn't get it to live update...) and got v3.23, updated to v3.25b. Still will not recognize my V276 (I realize it is NOT listed in the compatible phones list on the Moto website - WHY????), but manually selected the V265m and still nothing! Again, any help greatly appreciated!
