V-180 Voice Mailbox Number

Just received this phone. The manual is not the best.

Questions:

1. How do I find out what my voice-mailbox number is?

2. Is this number different than my pho number?

1. go to your message menu, once there press your menu key and go to "voice mail set up"

2. yes it's a different number.

OK, I did that, have the number but when I'm trying to retrieve a stored voice mail it tells me to either:

1. Hit the # key if this is my own phone OR:

2. Dial my mailbox number and hit the # key.

I've done both options and I receive:

"You've entered and incorrect mailbox number." Then it indicates I should start over.

Question:

How do I fix this or get the stored voice-box message?

that's happening because your "voice mail" settings need to be reprovision, call customer service and have them give the correct "voicemail" number...

Thx! I called Cingular and they provided me with a new number. Now it works!
