I have a Razr (T-Mobile) and I'm going to buy my first bluetooth headset. I'm looking at the Cardo Systems Scala-500 because it's not expensive and it has a lot of features, but I am open for suggestions. What's the range in feet of the bluetooth capabilities for this phone and headset?

I have the Verizon Razr and the Jabra BT350 headset. I have walked up to about 15 feet away from my phone (into an adjoining office with the door closed) with no disruption or degradation of signal. I don't see myself needing any more range than that, however the headset specs give a maximum transmit range of up to 35Ft/10M. That ought to be enough for just about anyone!

few things from me... Make sure it fits.. If it does not seat properly, the volume gets over cranked and bleeds onto the mic... then everybody complains of echo. If you are an average size person with a normal size ear, most earpieces will work fine. Most ear pieces have short mic booms and pic up back ground noise wind very well. Yet they do not have sidetone (blow or tap the mic, it does not come thru the speaker)... Need to know that if one wishes to please the recieving end. I have a Jarba 250, fits well, but is like what I described on the noise and sidetone. There is two boom headsets out there, the Sony HBH 300 and the LogiTech Mobile Pro. Like to try them out without mail ordering, I'm a big boy, and living in a hick town, stuff like that is hard to find. Don't let me stop you, do your homework, Bluetooth headsets are great. Try catching me without one :-)
