V330 questions

I currently have a v330 from Tmobile that is getting on my nerves.

I use caller groups with ringtones that are assigned to each group so I have an idea of who's calling before I pickup the phone. However when anyone from one of the assigned caller groups sends me a text message, it plays the entire rington rather then the standard "text message" sound. This is really starting to annoy me, my old Samsung e715 let me assign custom ringers and keep the standard text message sound assigned to the main system/uncatagorized callers

Yep, that's just the way Motorola phones are. Kinda irked me that there seems to be no way of changing it, so I stopped using ringer id's altogether.

Damn, I was hoping there was a way to fix that, perhaps a flash or what-not.


Although I must say I love this forum so far... with my bluetooth pda I've been transfering ringers to my cell.. beats downloading them online through the phone.
