    i have a motorola l6 and when i set a tone as a ring tone it wont play. i changed the ring style to loud and everything els but if i but it on classic or something it will do the normal ring sound but not the mp3 tone or any other tons.

    I am going to take a wild guess here and say maybe you need to reduce the file size or bitrate, or even the length of the file name. There was someone else with a similar problem, and I think one or more of these suggestions fixed the problem. Read the thread I am about to post here, and if none of those suggestions work it might have more to do with the file's name. Try something 8 characters or less with no symbols:

    Still, if none of this helps fix your problem, repost in this thread and we'll see if we can come up with another solution for ya.
