Ok, i got moto tools and a data cable for my v551 and i installed it all and it works, but when the phone comes up like where u can click menu and all of that, it never gets passed initializing and i cant put anything onto my phone, any ideas?

Sorry I didn't send you a message earlier, I should have told you this hours ago. Tony E! is our resident Moto expert and he's usually on in the evenings. If nobody else can answer your question, he'll certainly be able to. Sometimes it take a little time to get a response on a forum because it's not exactly a live chat. Just sit tight and when Tony comes around he'll be able to give you all the help you need.

Well, I have a Moto V551 & I just placed an order for Moto Phone Tools & a data cable. I'll check back when I get the package & let you know.

Have you allowed moto tools to update to the lastest version?
You may need to reboot between updates as well.

yes i did tony and yes i did blk and th cable i have is made by insten
