V3 Question

I just got this phone earlier this week. I've seen a lot of you have faceplates or stickers. Which is better? I have a pink faceplate on my V220 (someone at a mall did it for me), and I would like to put one on the razr, but I have no idea how I would get the cover off. I know I could always go back to the mall and get them to do it, but my main worry is that something could go wrong and I would need to have the phone replaced and wouldn't know how to get the original cover back on it. I've seen the links for changing the housing, but I only want to change the front plate and the battery door.

Also, which is better? The faceplates or stickers? Are the stickers going to leave a nasty residue after taking them off? If anyone has pictures of faceplates or stickers, would you please post them? I would like to see the difference. All of these websites where you can purchase them only show the product itself, not on an actual phone.

Well, to answer yur lsat question (faceplates or stickers), I woud easily suggest the faceplate because yes, the stickers do sometimes leave residue, which, in my opinion, looks horrible.

I'm sorry I do not have pictures to show you, I only used to get faceplates / stickers for my old phone.

If the faceplate is like any other Motorola Phone, there should be four "rubber circles" somewhere near the screen (when opened). Behind them there should be 4 screws, which you simply, unscrew! The faceplate should pop right off then.

This is not guaranteed to work though, I just know this is how you change faceplates for other Motorola Phones!

I will try and find a website showing how to switch faceplates on the V3 for you though!
