are you a ebay member? alots of seller from ebay will unlock your phone for $8 but you need to send your phone to them. most moto phone cannot unlock thru code it need a data cable and unlocking soft or the subcidy code from your service provider.

The unlocking site has the software to unlock your handset, you just need the usb cable, if you have a digital camera usb cable that will work, if not you can find one HERE

Unlocking Motorola Phones
Hi There,
I will try to clear up some of the issues in this thread. Each phone has a specific 'subsidy password' assignes to it that when entered will unlock it to work on any network; you cannot simply use a code that worked for someone else. There are various ways of bypassing this subsidy password, the most reliable and simplest way is to use a cable solution available at www.cell-unlock.com. Also, if you want to customize your phone to your name rather than the 'rogers service' you need to flash it, NOT unlock it...thats a seperate problem.
It is possible to unlock both the V180 and the RAZR by using the respective links: Unlock V3 RAZR
Hope this helpsLast edited by Tony E!; 04-14-2006 at 03:11 PM. Reason: spamming forum with the same link

Re: unlock codes
To test the unlock market, I unlocked my friend's RAZR with [URL=http://WWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.com[/URL] . They offere a similar service: Software which you download onto your phone and hey presto, your phone is unlocked. I like this because I'm too lazy to go out to the mall to do this.
Again they unlock the v180 etc. etc. Only about 20 bucks I think.Last edited by Tony E!; 04-14-2006 at 03:12 PM.
