I recently was given a motorola i730(Nextel) with no other info.I am wondering if it can be unlocked and used on a prepay T-Mobile account? Is this even possible with Nextel? Any info or codes for this phone will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you may be able to use a T-Mobile sim in it. to have it unlocked is easy. just head over to the NEXTEL part of the forum. once there check out the guide to getting your CP. then go to www.cellphonehacks.com and post in the CP modding thread. i say to go there because i havent seen one here.....

No. Nextel is iDEN and T-Mobile is GSM. Nextel is the only iDEN in the USA so you can only use a Nextel phone with Nextel. (Boost SIM cards work in Nextel phones but Nextel SIMs don't work in Boost phones, and Boost is just prepaid Nextel).
