First of all I am new to the forum so I just want to say hi. I just recently purchased a v360 on ebay (unlocked). The seller (sellularphones) claimed he was the only one on ebay selling an unlocked v360 that was 850mhz. Well I was going through the phone under settings\phone status\other information\technology and found this: GSM 900/1800-1900. So I send the seller an email asking if it was 850 or not and he says go to settings\network\netwrok setup\band. So I do and it says:
    850/1900
    900/1800
So now I'm really confused about it being 850mhz or not? Is there any way to tell if it is besides going somewhere where only 850 will work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Jeff, weclome to CPF...

    the v360 is a tri-band phone, but it's also 850 mHz capable...
the Euro/Asian version is 900 mHz variant.

check here for tha specs > P/S
