I am currently looking to get the SLVR. My service is U.S. Cellular and they do not have the SLVR. I don't know much about phones but someone told me I can unlock the phone so any service can be put on it. Is this true? If it is how would I do this?

    Thanks

Well no, US Cellular primarily uses CDMA technology, and also provides legacy TDMA service. Most coverage is cellular-band (800 MHz), with some PCS (1900 MHz) areas in the Central region, so you would not be able to use a SLVR L7 being that it only works in a GSM network.

Again, GMS phones will not work with a CDMA carrier/network.
