v557 --some questions

Hi. I just bought a V557. So far I love it. I was just wondering about the external screen. It shows everything I want to see except the date. Is there a setting to change that? Also, the news ticker. It says how to set it up. Is the whole process free, or will I have to pay for the set up?

Also, are there any headsrts for the V557? I dont want bluetooth. Just a normal headset that connects to the phone.

As far as I know, there is no way to add the date to the external screen, without editing the phone's software.

The ticker setup, ADDING and DELETING things from the ticker display, is NOT free, as you have to log on to medianet to make changes. So unless you have a MediaNet package, you are going to be paying .01 per kilobyte, for using it.

And as for wired headsets, yup, pretty much any of the ones for the motorola phones will work. Just make sure that you get one for Motorla and not some other phone, as I know for sure the Nokia wired headsets don't work. (I have several of them).
