I have the Moto HS820 Bluetooth, and I was able to pair it with my computer. Now, my question is, is this useful for anything? Can I use it for making voice calls over Yahoo Messenger? When the headset is connected to the pcomputer, I hear a beep every 10 seconds or so. I'm not sure what that means... Maybe there is some kind of software I need in order to get this to work? Thanks.

Actually I figured it out late last night. I just needed to change a couple of settings in my Audio Properties in the Voice tab. To get rid of the beeping, all I had to do was press the talk button on the headset. The thing works like a champ. Now I can make calls over Skype and Yahoo Messenger no problem, without the hassle of being tied down with wires.

*edit* I found the info I needed to do this HERE , just in case anyone else is wondering how to do this.

So it works like any hands free earphone mic set, once you press the button to answer the call from the sounds of it. Good deal.

Filed away as you never know when this will come in handy. Now I can delete my non answer in the post before your's!

And thanks for the link, always good to have Windows tips here and there to draw from when tinkering.

Actually, pressing the talk button gets rid of the annoying beep I was hearing every 3 seconds or so once the headset and my laptop bonded. I'm guessing the button press somehow "finalized" the connection. Glad I could post something useful. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has wanted to use a Bluetooth headset on the PC.
