Re: unlocked L6 from virgin mobile with tmobile sim card

Unlocked Motorola L6? don't see how that's possible, Virgin Mobile is a pre-paid CDMA carrier as opposed to T-Mobile being GSM.

we are talking about a Motorola L6? Virgin Mobile does not use GSM phones, not possible, Virgin Mobile is a CDMA carrier.

I am pretty sure OP is referring to Virgin Mobile UK which is a GSM provider.

    Agreed,
Unfortunately we do not read minds, so unless you completely fill out your profile to tell us your location along with what carrier and phone you are using, we do not like to guess.

Yes Virgin Mobile is GSM 900 in the UK i believe so the phone should work fine on Tmobiles GSM 1900 network in the states, however MMS, SMS, EMS, EDGE, & GPRS have to be configured properly. I talked to Tmobile tech support and they said ANY gsm phone can be configured properly to work with their network. So Dial 611 from the phone and tech support will gladly help you to set up your WAP internet on your out of network phone. Now you can pay $2 for a ringtone or get a usb cable most standard digital camara or MP3 player cables will work and DL the software for free insted of paying...You can find the software in this fourm.
