I recently got a L6 slvr and I believe it used to be a cingular phone is there anyway I can make it work with Cellone

If it was a Cingular branded phone, it will need to be unlocked in order to use it with another service provider. Just call Cingular and tell them you will be using this phone overseas, and you need the subsidy code to unlock it. Don't bother asking around on these forums for said code, as it is a unique key that corresponds to your IMEI number (many people have already tried, and the answer is always the same.) They will ask you for the IMEI number on the phone, so make sure to have it handy when you call.
