I am a very satisfied Verizon Customer with service but phone quality and durability is a big problem with Verizon compatible phones. Is there any way to program a Motorola/Nextel business line phone to adapt to Verizon service. Very tired of replacing phones and due to minimal wear and tear. I am ignorant in this area I understand Verizon is CDMA compatible does Motorola offer the nextel type phones that may work with Verizon service. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Re: Phone quality
No. Nextel phones are iDen, which is completely different than Verizon's CDMA.

Re: Phone quality
Why don't you try an LG for your service? LG phones for GSM aren't that great, but the CDMA versions are durable.

Re: Phone quality/unlocked
Thanks for the replies I will consider the LG line. Another question does the unlocked term mean it will cross carriers.

Re: Phone quality
Thank you for the unlocking forum, very interesting. In the area I live Verizon is the only game in town. The service is excellent, but again many of the actual phones are disposable in my opinion. I have a family of four on the service that we depend on and go through phones like no other I'll keep searching until I find a durable unit that works for our lifestyle. Thanks
