I'm pretty sure it will work
there is a version that supposedly works better
with CDMA Phones but I really don't see the difference
the one that I'm talking about is the P2K Seem V710
you can download it at Marks forums

I can't get to the communications tab from the general setup. Do you know if there's any other way this can be done?

    Thanks!

Here is a more concise and easier to follow set of instructions to enable the Multimedia Studio button in MPT for the Razr V3c.

You need to first make sure you are updated MPT as far as you can go. Connect the phone and launch MPT. When connected Then click on "Menu", go to "General Setup" and click the "Communications" tab. Click "Change Modem" and follow the instructions. When you get to the "detect driver" screen, put a check mark in the box next to "Do not automatically detect driver. Select from list." and click "Next".

Choose "Motorola CDMA" and scroll the list until you see "V3cm". Select this phone and click "Next". Then, simply click "Finish" and it will reload MPT. Your phone will be recognized and you will have access to the "Multimedia Studio" options.

That should resolve your MPT issues. Please note: this fix may only make the button show up on your MPT interface. It will not make the button work if you have firmware version .03 or higher.

    Good luck.
