Hello; I'm dgunn and I found this site thru google.
I have used the Motorola i2000plus {Nextel} for a number of years while on international travel. It is a 'brick'!
Question: can I swap its sim card into a RAZr for use in the US; so that I don't have to carry the 'clunker' around?
Nextel tells me they won't provide RAZr's.
I am assuming that the RAZr will not work overseas. Is that correct?

Re: SIM card swap
It would work on any unlocked GSM RAZR because the i200+ works both on GSM & iDEN. Mainly Nextel's "moto" is rugged and sturdy phones. I don't think having the RAZR would make much sense for them to carry it. Nextel only uses iDEN technology, not GSM. Also, an unlocked RAZR will work overseas because it is quadband, 850/900/1800/1900. Just slip in your SIM card and you should be good to go.
