I got a V3X on Ebay and started T-Mobile service (I'm in California USA). Everything is ok except that one of my menu choices is not "Office Tools"(mine says "extras" instead-has calculator, calendar etc.) where you can go to record a "voice memo". How do I do that on this phone? I read a review online that said you press down, and hold, the key below the camera key, on the right side of phone, and you can record-I did that but it does nothing. If I press that button, and not hold it, it goes to the 'voice command" prompts but record a memo is not one of them. Can anyone that has a V3X help me to figure out how to do this, it's driving me nuts! Thanks, Joe.

I dunno if this is the right phone but I'll post a link so u can verify if it is or not.

from what I know is that if you press the button u are saying, it will say No voice Names are Stored in Phonebook. I have a v55 and the buttons on the side seem to have the same commands so instead of pressing the button u pressed try pressing 3rd button on the left side (below the volume buttons, 2nd picture) only once and it should take you to Voice Records and then select (New Voice Record). Now to record a voice thing just hold the button on the right (shown in picture one) and that should do it. I hope this is what u meant.

    Latino,
Thanks for the reply but that button is the smart key on this phone and can't be assigned that task, as far as I know. Joe.
