v3i unable to download messages.

When I receive a text message I get an error and cant read the message. Error says unable to download. This did not happen suddenly, it has not worked since I got the phone. Are their any settings to check? Could it have to do with the fact that I never got the internet working on this phone? Please help, thanks.

I was able to fix both of these problems using the SLVR settings to configure my phone. From what I read the v3i with Itunes needs to use the SLVR settings not the V3 settings. Hope that helps others.

* now if I can only find out how to put games on my phone.
