Re: Motorola L2 Drivers
Do you have Motorola Phone Tools (also known as MPT or Mobile Phone Tools)? This software is linked in the forums, just search for MPT. You will find a thread with a link to the installer for MPT version 4.04b. Install the software, and your phone should be recognized. If you still have problems, search the forums, There are lots of threads regarding fixes for MPT.

Re: Motorola L2 Drivers
I have had this problem as well with my L2 from work. Thanks for the advice. Now I can stick it to the man and customize my phone to my heart's content! No, seriously, I am sick of looking at the darn city logo. It's ugly. This will help.

Re: Motorola L2 Drivers
I encounter some problems when trying to install my L2. I follow the instructions found on this page, which are fairly simple. When I plug in my phone, Windows tells me no drivers are found, no matter if I let Windows search for drivers itself, or if I point Windows to the right directory, or even tell Windows to manually install the right .inf for me.
Alternatively, I also tried the motomodders.net driverpack and followed the instructions they give. Same result. I even tried installing MPT4, but it can't detect the phone. Needless to say that between every option that I just described, I removed all installed software from my pc
, and removed every motorola related item in my device manager (including hidden devices). I plugged in my phone at the correct moments, and also tried multiple USB ports.
The problem may be that I had a Razr V3 before this, which worked correctly. However, before connecting my new L2 at all, I removed all installed software, and removed all parts of the phone from the device manager.
There might be one other thing: In several how-to's and topic posts I read that the phone should be in data/fax mode. How do I check if it is?
Thanks for any help
