Data Cable stuck in V557 phone

I just bought the data cable (skn6311b) for the V557 cellphone and now it won't disconnect from the phone. I feel like I'm going to pull the guts out of the phone if I force it. Is there a secret to getting it out? I was able to connect to it through the computer, so I know it's in there right. I just want my cordless phone back! HELP please?

that cable has a logo on the front (The big M on it) all u have to do is push that down and pull it out of the phone

Believe me, we've tried. It doesn't push down. We thought it might be a release button, but it's sure not releasing. Thanks.

hehehe some of these cables are hard so try pusing it down hard and at the same time wiggle it of the phone, if that doesn't work you'll need to break the phone............
Nah you'll have to open up the phone to release the pins on the sides. When u r pressing down the button pull and wiggle the cable's head while holding down the release button.

oh yeah u won't feel the button going down I forgot to say that

OMG, FINALLY! It's off! I'm not sure I want to put it back on again! At least while it was on I was able to get the software installed and mess around a bit. (Software keeps killing hubby's laptop. Not sure it's worth all this hassle!)

You can try to put it in again but don't force it in, also which software are u using that's killing the lappy

Hmm sounds like the laptop is either running alot of programs on the background or it may be that the laptop is an oldie ok good to know u got it off, glad to help u out any other questions feel free to ask them, my job is done here, I'm outta here
