I have two V220s and they have been working fine until sometime a few days ago when one has no sound from the ear speaker. I think I have done everything possible to determine the problem but no luck. Volume is all the way up,and the will not speaker function either. I can make calls out, the receiving party can hear me but I can't hear them. The phone rings the way it's supposed to but when I answer it , it's dead!!
Any ideas ? have I done something to cause this? Or do I just have a mal functioning phone???

Re: V220 that won't talk to me!
Forget it -- I took it to the Motorola service center today and they replaced the speaker cable. Fortunately it was still under warranty or would have cost me about $60 to repair.

Sorry I didn't catch this earlier, you could have done it yourself for free. And the cable most likely didn't have to be replaced just reseated.
