On the motorola.com website, it claims this cell phone triband is a 900/1800/1900.

However if you go to the T-Mobile website, it states there that the handset is 850/1800/1900.

My service uses 850/1800/1900....soo....can I use this phone? Or not? Can someone explain a bit more about these service 'bands', please? Specifically what would happen if I tried using 900/1800/1900 on my service provider?

    Thanks!

    Motorola V360 / V361 Specs & Features (Phone Scoop)

According to phonescoop.com, this phone comes in both a US and European version. The European coming with the 900 band instead of 850.

Either way, it will "work" on T-Mobile, but if it is the Euro version, you may encounter some roaming coverage problems, as it lacks the 850 band. T-Mo primarily runs on 1900, so hence the "work" claim above.

Any other info on the phone? Where did you get it? Do you have the manual, specs, etc?

Re: Motorola V360, ? re tri bands

    Hi, thanks for your help!

I haven't yet purchased the phone I referenced above, but am seriously considering it. My family has (3) V220's (850/1800/1900 bands), 2 of which have cracked LCD's, one of those two is unable to make calls (can't see what you're dialing). I'm trying to find a replacement(s), but haven't been successful yet in doing so. I'm really bummed atm, both phones broke within 2 weeks of each other, and of course are not covered by warranty.
