Moto i870 (Nextel phone with T-Mobile service?)

I just got a Motorola i870 from a friend, it is on nextel's service. I am on T-Mobile and I want to use this phone, how would I go about unlocking this phone? I'm not asking for unlock codes, but if you have them and would like to share I would appreciate it very much. Thanks for the help.

Sorry, won't work. The i870 is a IDEN phone, while T-Mobile uses GSM.

My friend took his phone back, mods you can delete this thread if you so feel.
