Hey, is there any software that works on a MAC? When I bought the phone, the salesman was trying to get me to buy EVERTHING for it. He told me there was no way to get songs on it without their software, until i said I was on a MAC. Then he said you could just drag and drop. I've figured that out but what about software so I can see my phone on my computer. DO they make MAC software?

They don't even make software for PCs to do that...

Sorry, I meant do they make a MPT that works with a MAC. Some way so that the computer recogizes the phone so I can add things too it.

You could transfer files through a transflash card via card reader. You can get 2g transflash cards now. Ringtones cannot be transfered this way, although mp3's photos, and video works. On my pc I just drag and drop into my card reader drive. In that folder will be folders named music, video etc.

Even if they did make MPT for the Mac, it wouldn't do you any good. Verizon has removed the ability to use MPT from all of their Motorola phones.

Ok then, So I have a KRZR and can either be on a MAC (at work) or PC(at home), which would you recommend and with what software. If you know of what version as well that would rule. I just cant seem to get this right.

...to do what? As I said, there is no software available that will allow you to transfer ringtones or wallpapers to your Verizon phone. As for syncing music to your phone, I am still trying to get an answer to that question. As I understand it, there is a sync program for the Mac, that will work with Verizon phones, for the sole purpose of putting music on your phone (not for ringtones, which is not possible). When I find out the name of it, I will post it here.

    Re: KRZR and a MAC

Oh, sorry. I'm looking to transfer videos onto my phone for now. I have all the software to convert videos to the correct format but now have no way to get them onto my phone. I ordered a 1gig card for it. When it comes, i will just load them direct but I would still like to have some program like MPT that recogizes my phone. At least to back up my contacts and calander. Know where I can find MPT version 4.0 or higher? Or anything that will allow me to do the above.
    Thanks again.
