got my phone unlocked and now....please help!

the main screen is white except for a small bar on top about 1/16 in thick. The phone I'm using is a Motorola V600 and my service provider is T-mobile. I got my phone unlocked, b/c I will be traveling next week and like to use a local SIM card.

After I got the phone unlocked it worked fine and we tried out the phone with a Cingular card and it worked fine. Now, the next morning my screen is blank. If I open the phone maybe 10 times I usually see a faint image of my wallpaper, but it will fade within a few seconds.

Here is the kicker: The phone still works. I can make and receive phone calls, but can no longer access any of my features or text messages.

What can I do? Can I reset my phone in any way?

That sounds more like a hardware issue than an unlocking issue. Did T-Mobile unlock your phone, or did someone else? If T-Mobile did, I would bring it back to them and have them fix it.
