My friend said I could connect my L6 to my laptop via wirelessly. Is it possible or not? If it is, do I need a software? I just got this phone for an early Christmas gift.

If needed, it's unlocked and my service provider is T-Mobile.

If your laptop is Bluetooth enabled, then yes, it is possible. My laptop, for instance, has a Bluetooth transceiver built right into the wireless card, making it possible for me to connect my phone to my computer wirelessly. If you do not have onboard Bluetooth, then you will need to buy a USB Bluetooth dongle. You can find them at Best Buy and similar stores for around $20.

Thanks for that help. Is there a certain program I need or should it just detect it?

Is your computer Bluetooth capable right now? If so, I can tell you how to use Windows to detect your phone.

Go to MyBluetoothPlaces. Set your phone to Discoverable (Menu--->Settings--->Connection--->Bluetooth Link--->Setup--->Find Me) Now, on the computer under your BT places, click on Search for Devices. Once it finds your phone, you will then need to pair them. Click once on your phone, then on the left hand side, click on Establish Pairing. It will ask you for a password. Just use 1234. Click OK. Your phone will then ask you if you want to bond with your computer. Press yes, and enter the same code you entered on your computer. Once you have paired the two, you won't have to pair them again unless you unpair them. Go into your OBEX File Transfer and you will see the folders on your phone that contain audio, pictures, and video. Now, all ya have to do is drag and drop or copy/paste files into their respective folders on your phone. Ringtones go in Audio, pics go in Picture, videos go in Video. That is pretty much all there is to it. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
