In the phone image, go to Menu--->Tools--->Multimedia Center. That will allow you to transfer files to and from your phone.

Re: How to add MEdia to my motorola v190?
I just got my v190 and am interested in making a few transfers of wallpapers and sound snippets for ringtones.
I got the mobile Phone Software on my computer from the downloads suggested above. I have version 3.25B 4/8/2005. I go through the motions of detecting the phone, but it gives me a message
"mobile Phone Tools did not detect your phone."
I get a choise to do it manually, I get the choice to use Motorola USB modem, Conexant D480 MDC V.92 modem and "other device".
Obviously I am missing something. Could someone give me a nudge in the right direction?
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am using a "normal" USB Male A to USB Mini B Male cord. Its not a "Motorola" part.
Thanks!
Colonel

Re: How to add MEdia to my motorola v190?
Nevermind, I figured it out. I didnt have all the latest and greatest updates to the MPT software. AFter reading other threads, it dawned on my that I never needed to reboot the computer after installing. I reinstalled the software and it did give me a reboot message and now it works.
