    Hi,

I just got my L6, and i was wanting to put a MP3 ringtone i have on my cpu onto my phone via bluetooth. I have the ringtone in MP3 format, and i can get it onto my phone, but then it says "invalid format" After that, i cant find the file on my phone. I tried to put it onto my brothers sony erisson and it works there. How come i cant use the ringtone? the l6 is supposed to be able to support MP3 files/ringtones. Any help would be greatly appretiated. Thanks.

    Re: L6 MP3 ringtone troubles

Hey man, the reply is 1.5 years late, but I was recently having the same issue that you are. I'd load an MP3 onto my Motorola L6 over Bluetooth connection with my PC. When I tried to play it, either in the sound player or as a ringtone, "Format not supported" came up.

So I opened the file up in a sound editing application and saved the clip as a 128kbits Mono (...as opposed to stereo) MP3 file. All my MP3 ringtones are working now.
