Can anyone help? I'm trying to help my friends but I don't have all the answers. First, lady has sprint Motorola SLVR Lc7. Second guy has sprint Motorola KRZR K1m & Sprint RAZR v3m.

We need to know how to assign ringtones after uploading from their computers. Whatever anyone knows, I appreciate it. Thanks.

    -connect your phone

-First of all make sure your ringtones are not a full-length song ( since the metioned phones each have only about 5-6 mb of built-in storage, not counting the memory card)

-Then you'll want to find your phone in the My Computer folder on your computer.

-Then, there should be two folders, iTunes and mobile

    -Click on mobile

-Find the audio folder within mobile

-Transfer your desired ringtone into this folder

    -Disconnect your phone

-Go to My Stuff on the menu

    -Go to sounds

-Press the menu button and select switch storage device

-You should see to options, phone and memory card ( or whatever you named your card)

    -Select the memory card option

    -find your ringtone

    -press the menu button

    -select apply as

    -select ringtone

Hope that helps you out a bit...

use this guide. it is better info:
aznuwee - How to use MP3 Ringtones on Your MOTOKRZR K1m

the actual locations of ringers may differ slightly between the different phones. you will know what the real location is if you look into the different folders and see which one actually has the ringers in it.

those links in his guide however are old ones if i am not mistaken. You can get better up to date versions of all that stuff here:
click my username and then the link for my "homepage" to get some useful info on hacking the Razr.
